MAC All Ages All Races All Sexes, MAC in Lillyland
Tonight I stopped by the mall to go an up shut and personal look at the balance of the 2 brand-spankin' new MAC collections that arrived today, All Ages, All Races, All Sexes and MAC in Lillyland. 🙂
I set out to find my favorites and brainstorm with the makeup artists at the counter to find the all-time of the rest.
MAC in Lillyland: I'thousand blushing
Lillyland's colour palette takes me straight to the tropics, with glistening sparkles similar droplets of rain on exotic flowers in shades of vibrant pink, orangish and majestic.
Cremeblend Blush in Florida ($19). Florida looks shockingly pink in her pan, only she applies similar a semi-transparent hot pink on cheeks. My MAC buddy Rose loves Florida, which she chosen a dead ringer for MAC Dollymix pulverization blush (an all-fourth dimension fave!). I've always wanted a cream blush version of Dollymix… I guess some dreams actually practise come truthful! 🙂
All four of the Cremeblend Blushes ($19 each). Don't be scurred, holmes! They may look bright in their pans, but these creamy blushes, with their dewy finish, get on like transparent washes of color. Wear 'em on bare skin OR above your foundation and/or powder. Then purty!
From left to correct: Joie-De-Vivre; Optimistic Orange; And so Sweet, And then Like shooting fish in a barrel and Florida
Pearlmatte Face Pulverisation ($27). MAC artist Michelle chosen this pan of powder the Lillyland product that would wear best beyond the lath. She suggested swirling the shimmery brown, peach, gold and pinkish shades together to create a golden brown. BONUS: Should piece of work great every bit either a blush or a highlighter.
All Ages, All Races, All Sexes: Back in time
Hello, '90s much? I haven't worn chocolate-brown eyeshadow, blush and lipstick together since 1997, but I guess old is new again because I'm Digging this range. I think it boasts some groovy everyday neutrals.
Liqueur Lipglass and Empowered Lipstick (both $14). For an updated version of the dark-brown lip that ruled the '90s, try a layer of Liqueur Lipglass (a frosty pinkish brownish) above Empowered Lipstick (a flossy neutral brown). Then, if yous feel an urge to wear a baby T with a spaghetti-strap dress and a little blackness backpack, I suggest yous simply become with it. 🙂

The Beauty Pulverization Blushes in Personal Style and All'southward Good ($nineteen each). I love piece of cake makeup, and both of these pulverization blushes striking that spot — great for flushed, piece of cake cheeks. I can see myself putting on either Personal Style (a light mauve taupe) or All'due south Good (a deep rose) in the morn for a daytime look with neutral lips and dark eyes.

Glamour For All Lipglass ($14). This sheer pink with pearly gloss must look practiced on everyone. The MAC gals called this baby one of the collection'southward bestsellers. For a daytime pinkish lip, try it with MAC Subculture Lip Pencil ($13) and Myself lipstick ($14).
Then how was your Thursday? Did you do annihilation fun? I'one thousand settling down for the night here with a stack of manner mags on my lap. Gotta detect a way out of my jeans and t-shirt rut.
Sleep well! 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty aficionado,
Karen
